I found the stay comfortable. Breakfast was easy to bring to my room. The staff was friendly and didn't mind my dog. The location made it convenient to explore. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere during my visit.
The check-out process was confusing. I noticed some inconsistencies in the dog policy that weren't clearly communicated.

Just a nice choice for a passing visit in Carmel-by-the-Sea with good price-quality ratio. The room had a fantastic amount of counter space in the bathroom for our things. Make sure to ask about parking spots when checking in.

The cozy environment was charming, but the outdated bathroom needed attention.

We had a fantastic family getaway in the Cambridge cottage, which was comfy and fully equipped. Having three beds was a huge plus for our group, and we loved being able to park right in front. Plus, the area is super charming with shops and restaurants nearby.
For dads, it would be great if there were more coffee supplies.

Cozy atmosphere with unique cottage accommodations made the stay enjoyable. Access to local recommendations allowed for fantastic outings, while the easy walk to the beach and downtown made exploration effortless.
The windows lacked screens, which made opening them for airflow a gamble—no one wants unwelcome bugs in their space. Kitchen utensils were sparse. basic essentials like cooking oil or decent pots were missing, making it hard to prepare meals as intended. On top of that, some rooms had poor soundproofing, allowing early morning chatter from neighbors to disrupt sleep. Finally, the inconsistent breakfast offerings didn't quite hit the mark, leaving little protein or variety for a satisfying start to the day.

Cozy spot with a super location
I stayed for a night in the Sommerset King Room, which was just as cozy as it looked online. The fireplace was a nice touch, especially for a chilly evening. Location was spot on—close to everything I needed. One bummer though, breakfast was pretty basic and didn’t match the website pic at all. Could’ve used more options.

perfect for exploring art galleries and charming dining spots
During my stay, I loved how cozy the room was, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making my solo adventures even more enjoyable, especially with the nearby art galleries just a few steps away and delicious restaurants like Bistro Giovanni a short walk away for great meals. it's perfect for a single traveler looking for convenience and charm at an affordable price, but I did notice the windows could benefit from screens to keep out bugs while enjoying the fresh air.

The Greenwich Room offered a cozy retreat with a lovely fireplace and a fridge in the closet, making it feel like home. The location is just a few blocks from the bustling Carmel center, which is incredibly convenient. However, parking can be tricky, and not all rooms might suit larger groups, given the compact size of the facilities. Breakfast was decent, but the offerings could have been more varied aside from pastries and bagels. Overall, a charming place with friendly staff, it’s a solid choice for couples looking to relax.

Stayed for a short visit to explore local shops and restaurants. The location was perfect, just a short walk to everything in town and still close to the beach. Our room was clean and had a nice view, but the bathroom could use a refresh. The coffee maker was quite outdated, which was a letdown considering the overall charm of the place.
